Our Business
Founded in 1978 in Plymouth, Indiana, and continuously in business since that time, Real Estate Management Corporation (REMC) approaches the management of each of its accounts with the same conviction and sense of pride and accomplishment that would be evidenced with pride of ownership. Our credo remains "We manage each property as if it were our own." REMC is the largest for-fee property management company in northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan with over 1,100 housing units throughout South Bend, Plymouth, Argos, Bremen, Logansport, Milford, Elkhart and Columbia City, Indiana, and Buchanan, Michigan. We do not own income properties which compete with our fee management assignments, thereby assuring our clients that we will effectively identify and provide for the needs of each assignment without the financial and marketing distractions caused by conflicting property ownership.

REMC is also the "sister company" to the South Bend partner office of CB Richard Ellis. Together, both companies employ 80 professionals working to service St. Joseph, LaPorte, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko counties in Indiana, and Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph counties in Michigan. REMC has a demonstrated expertise for quality financial responsibility and reporting. The company has served both circuit and superior courts on real estate receivership assignments, many of which are performed on a recognition bond basis. The company has been retained to contract for and manage several large rehabilitation projects including assignments. REMC's expertise extends to conventional apartments, condominiums, student housing, and governmentally subsidized housing including: Section 515, Section 202, Section 236, Section 221(d)4, Section 8, and Low Income Housing Tax Credit Programs. REMC has consistently received high recognition from governmental agencies during the management review process.

Our Credentials
Real Estate Management Corporation is an Accredited Management Organization (AMO®). As such we have satisfied the accreditation requirements and maintain the high standards of the AMO® program as established by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a member institute of the National Association of Realtors®, regarding staffing of employees, ongoing financial stability and adherence to strict organizational policies and procedures and a very strict Code of Ethics. Our management services are organized and supervised by individual Certified Property Managers® at Real Estate Management Corporation. Individuals with CPM® designations are part of the Institute of Real Estate Management, a member institute of the National Association of Realtors®.
