Uhrig Apartments is a two-story apartment community, located in a quiet neighborhood on the near northeast side of South Bend. The community welcomes residents who are actively participating in the Madison Center Semi-Independent Living Program and provides affordable housing to meet their needs.

Gas, electric, water & sewer and trash service are all economically included in the rent at Uhrig Apartments.

Each apartment features a full kitchen, ample closet space, large, sunny windows, neutral colors, a living room and a dining area. Wall-to-wall carpeting is found throughout the living room, dining room and bedrooms. The bathrooms and kitchens have attractive easy-to-care-for tile flooring.

Uhrig Apartments offers convenient on-site laundry facilities and also has a beautifully landscaped outdoor area that includes a large meadow and picnic area.

Uhrig residents must be actively participating in the Semi-Independent Living Program offered through Madison Center.

Rental Rates
Rental rates are based on fair market rents as established by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

From downtown South Bend, turn east (right) on Jefferson Blvd. Continue on Jefferson several blocks and turn north (left) on Ironwood Dr. Turn east (right) at the second traffic light, Corby Blvd (a golf course will be on your right side). Turn north (left) at Patty Ln. Uhrig Apartments is immediately north of where Patty Ln. dead-ends into Hope Ave.
