Oaklawn Apartments  

Oaklawn Apartments includes 2 one-story buildings and is just 10 minutes from downtown Elkhart, Indiana. Residents of Oaklawn Apartments are referred through Oaklawn Center. Both 1- and 2-bedroom apartments are available.

Amenities:

Heat and electricity are included in the rent at Oaklawn Apartments. All apartments are outfitted with mini-blinds or drapery, comfortable and sturdy furniture, a stove, refrigerator and individual air conditioners. There is a lovely Community Room in each building, providing the opportunity for our residents to enjoy some relaxation and recreation. Each building has its own on-site coin operated laundry room.

Location:

Oaklawn Apartments is located 10 minutes from downtown Elkhart and is located next to Oaklawn Center.

Pierre Moran Mall is 5 minutes east, and the Social Security office is 4 blocks northeast. It is on the Elkhart City Bus line and is surrounded by single family homes. Located across the street is Stratford Commons-Senior Housing and Oakland Estates.

Rental Requirements:

Applicants must be referred through Oaklawn Center and must meet income guidelines as established by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Rental Rates:

The rent at Oaklawn Apartments is base on the resident's income. All resident household will pay 30 percent of their adjusted income as rent, or 10 percent of the gross family income. Please contact our rental office for more details on the rate of rent and the process for residency.
