Garden Court East Apartments is a 60-unit apartment community in Plymouth, Indiana. Built in 1979, Garden Court East happily welcomes residents at least 62 years of age or disabled (with no age restrictions).

Amenities:
At Garden Court East, we offer gas, heat, electric, water, sewage, recycling and trash as part of the monthly rent.
Garden Court East offers its residents an on-site laundry facility and spacious Community Room.

The residents at Garden Court East remain active with the many events available. In our Community Room, we host Bingo night, dominos, coffee club and euchre. Each apartment has a small garden available at the doorstep and many of our residents make their homes beautiful by growing spring bulbs, summer flowers and roses. Patios are attached to each apartment and many residents enjoy relaxing outside with their friends and delight in watching their flowers bloom. Garden Court East helps their residents by partnering with Martin’s Supermarket and Older Adult Services to provide one free round trip per week to complete their grocery shopping.

Garden Court East is home to 15 ground-story buildings and each building has 4 units. We offer 36 one bedroom units, 20 two bedroom units, 4 efficiency units and 6 of the 60 units are handicap-accessible units. Square footage averages between 550-650 square feet.

Location:
Garden Court East is located on Pennsylvania Ave. with the main entrance located on Liberty St. The Plymouth public library, post office and neighborhood center are within a short distance of the apartments and the fire and police departments are also close by. Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center is located 2 miles away. Martin’s Supermarkets and Kroger’s are both in town, along with People’s Drug Store, CVS, WalGreen’s, K-Mart and WalMart, with many other retailers available in the vicinity.

Rental Requirements:
Applicants should request a rental application packet from our rental office. The packet includes an application, credit consent, police check, consent to release form, sex offender check, previous 3 years of landlord history verification and any other items that may pertain to the applicant. Our residents must meet income guidelines and rental criteria to qualify. If you have any questions regarding the application process, please call our helpful staff a the rental office to assist you!

Rental Rates:
Please contact our rental office for annual income limits. Rent is calculated based on 30% of the adjusted monthly income.

Directions:
From Highway 31, take 9A Road West. 9A Road will turn into Jefferson St. Continue on Jefferson St. to Liberty St., turn left (South). Follow Liberty Street to the flashing red light in front of the school, this will be LaPorte St. Continue straight on Liberty St. and the property will be on the right before you reach the stop sign intersecting Pennsylvania Ave.

From Highway 30, take Oak Road South. Follow Oak Road to Lincoln Hwy (Family Express and Diary Queen are at this intersection) and turn left (East). Lincoln Hwy will turn into Jefferson St. Follow Jefferson to Liberty St. and turn right (South). Follow Liberty St. to the flashing red light in front of the school, this will be LaPorte St. Continue straight on Liberty St. and the property will be on the right before you reach the stop sign intersecting Pennsylvania Ave.
